Experienced childcare worker looking for a family to help!

🇬🇧 Hello! I'm Mafalda, I'm 30 years old and have recently moved back to my homeland Portugal after living in the United States for the better part of my life. I am looking for a job as a live-out nanny to a lovely and fun family who is in need of full time help during the day. My experience with childcare started at age 13 with babysitting within my family and surrounding community. Particularly my younger siblings with whom I have a large age gap with (they are now 13 and 17). My most recent experience was being a live in nanny for a month for a Portuguese family with a total of six children for their summer holidays in São Martinho do Porto. I prepared their breakfasts and lunches every day and accompanied them on their every day outings, which mostly consisted of beach activities. At the end of the day I helped out with baths for the youngest and put them to bed. Some extra work I provided to help out a little was cleaning up and doing dishes. I believe my best quality as a person that helps me with looking after kids is my level-headedness and patience, and my ability to communicate calmly with kids and have them listen to me on the same level. I also very much enjoy having fun and doing activities with them outside of screens (though a little movie or cartoon time never hurt anyone and I love that too!) and just finding new ways to keep them engaged.
