New to Porto and need a periodic sitter

Hello-
We are new to Porto and have 12 year old cocker spaniel (Bogart) who is on 6 month home quarantine. Bogart has an auto-immune disease that is well-controlled but as a result, he cannot have the rabies vaccine as it has been known to cause immune flareups. A condition of his coming to Portugal with us is a 6 month in-home quarantine.
Bogart is also blind. None of his "isssues" seem to be of concern to him. He's a happy dog, friendly dog.
We are looking for a long-term relationship that, once his quarantine has ended, could be at the sitter's home. However, during quarantine, we need the sitter to come to our home occasionally so we can accomplish errands, etc. Right now we must make a trip to the US consulate in Lisbon to process some papers and Bogart can't come along, so it would be a long day for him to be home alone without getting out. Appreciate someone who is comfortable with older dogs. Thanks!
