English Personal Care Assistant

My name is Mabyn, I'm 23 and and have 3 years of caregiving experience. I come from the United States, meaning I am a fluent English speaker, and I am learning Portuguese. In my caregiving experience I have worked with both elderly and disabled clients in a large age range. A day in my life looked like: helping with activities of daily living, meal preparation, cleaning, dressing, medications, any of the basic needs you can think of really. I liked to help people feel more comfortable in their home and do the hobbies they enjoy, such as puzzles, listen to some tunes, watch a great movie, go on a walk. Anything that makes their day a little better. When it comes to education, I have an associate's degree in health science, and a certification to be personal care assistant recognized by the New York department of health. I look forward to my new chapter here in Portugal!
