Compassionate Carer in Lisbon & Cascais

Hi, I'm Nicole – 55, originally from Austria, and moving to the Lisbon/Cascais area at the end of October 2026. I'm looking forward to this new chapter and would love to find a family or client I can really be there for. I have a medical-technical background (radiology, with some experience on the intensive care unit and in the operating theatre) and I'm a qualified Medical Massage Therapist – classic massage, lymphatic drainage, foot reflexology, APM, segment and connective tissue massage. What I care about most, though, is that the person in front of me feels comfortable, safe, and genuinely at ease. I spent many years running a busy, lively household while raising my own four children and hosting international exchange students from all over the world – so I'm very used to welcoming new people warmly and getting to know them quickly. I also worked for several years in customer support at a marketing company, so I'm reliable, clear in how I communicate, and easy to reach. Along the way I also studied Law for a few years and completed a Permaculture Design Certificate – both reflect how much I enjoy learning and thinking things through carefully, whether it's people, systems, or nature. I'm a native German speaker, comfortable in English (B2), and currently learning Portuguese – so I'd especially love to support German- or English-speaking clients who appreciate being understood in their own language. Outside of care work, you'll usually find me trailrunning, bouldering, doing yoga, practising Wing Tsun, or simply out in nature – staying active keeps me calm and grounded, which I bring into my work too. I'm happy to help with daily routines, appointments, light housekeeping, meals, or just good company. Open to live-in or live-out, full-time or part-time – I'd love to hear from you!
