Hi! I’m Eliza, a recent Scripps College graduate with a degree in Media Studies and I am currently pursuing my Masters at The Catholic Univeristy of Portugal in Marketing. I have passion for helping students feel confident, capable, and excited about learning. I have around 10 years of experience working with children and have supported students with everything from early literacy and phonics to numbers, colors, reading, and homework help. My approach to tutoring is patient, encouraging, and personalized. I know that every student learns differently, so I like to find creative ways to explain concepts and make lessons engaging rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. I’m also experienced in helping children work through frustration, build confidence, and develop positive learning habits. I’m comfortable working with a range of ages and abilities and can help with academic support, homework, reading practice, early education, and study skills. I’m currently preparing to begin my master’s degree in Marketing, Advertising & Communications in Lisbon, and I’d love to help students reach their goals while making learning feel a little more fun along the way!
