Experienced Nanny for Newborn – Lisbon (30h/week)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated long-term Nanny for a newborn (a few weeks old) in Lisbon.
The initial schedule is Monday to Friday, 11:00 to 17:00 (approx. 30 hours/week), with the potential to grow over time.
This is a direct hire by the family, managed through their personal assistant.

Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and development stimulation for the newborn. Manage and prepare baby meals, ensuring comfort with future food diversification (solids). Accompany the family on travels when required.

Mandatory Requirements:
Age: 35 and over (family's explicit preference for maturity and extensive life experience).
Experience: Confirmed, recent experience with babies under 6 months old. Experience only with older children will not be considered.
Language: Intermediate English or higher (must allow real, fluent conversation).
Flexibility: Full availability to travel with the family.

Non-Negotiable Background Checks:
Since this is a direct search, our vetting process replaces agency screening.

Candidates must provide:
Recent and clean criminal record check.
Verifiable professional references (must include active phone contacts of past employers).
Valid Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification.
Full right to work in Portugal with verified documentation.

Nice to Have:
Previous experience in crèches or Montessori education background.
