Daily Caregiver for 62-Year-Old Woman – Olhão

I am looking for a reliable, caring caregiver to support my grandmother in Olhão on a daily basis.

She is currently recovering from a recent hospitalisation but is independent with many everyday activities. She can walk, use the bathroom independently, use her phone, eat independently once food is prepared, and ask for help when needed. She mainly needs support, supervision and assistance with her daily routine.

Main responsibilities:
- Preparing and assisting with meals
- Supporting her with medication
- Assistance with personal hygiene and showering when needed
- General supervision and companionship
- Helping with everyday activities
- Light household tasks related to her care

Important: My grandmother communicates mainly in English, so being able to communicate comfortably with her in English is important.

We are looking for someone patient, responsible and caring, preferably with previous professional experience caring for older adults.

Location: Olhão
Schedule: Daily support, to be discussed
Type of care: External/live-out or potentially a more comprehensive arrangement, depending on availability
Pay: To be discussed depending on hours, experience and responsibilities
