Housekeeper / Cook – Private Home (Lisbon)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal (Principe Real)
Schedule: 2 days per week (Mon & Thurs)

About the Role

2 of us who live close together in Principe Real are looking for a reliable, skilled, and trustworthy person to help maintain our support person in Lisbon. The role combines house cleaning, laundry, cooking, and general household upkeep, ensuring the house is always tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked.

Key Responsibilities
• Cooking: Prepare 4-5 high protein, healthy home-cooked meals weekly (please submit 2–3 sample menu options with your application)
• Cleaning: Kitchen, bathrooms, floors, dusting, and general housekeeping
• Laundry: Washing, drying, ironing, and putting away clothes and linens
• Household Maintenance: Keeping the home tidy and organized, watering flowers, spotting and addressing household needs
• Grocery Support: Checking supplies and asking if any groceries are needed
• Trustworthy Access: You will have full access to the home on working days

Requirements
• Strong cleaning and housekeeping skills
• Ability to cook a variety of healthy meals
• Trustworthy and reliable, with references
• Good communication skills (Portuguese or English; English not required)
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Work Conditions
• Part-time: 2 days per week
• Flexible choice between Mon/Tue/Thur
• €500 per month for each person (1,000 total) depending on experience
