Weekend Live-in Caregiver (Saturdays 19:00 – Sundays 19:00)

We are looking for a compassionate, patient, and experienced weekend live-in caregiver to join our household in Lisbon. You will be providing full care for an elderly family member who requires total physical assistance for one 24-hour shift per week (Saturday 19:00 to Sunday 19:00).

About the Household
Care Recipient: An elderly mother who is non-self-sufficient and requires full physical assistance and daily living support. (She speaks Chinese only; daily communication is minimal but necessary at times).
Location: Lisboa
Shift/Schedule: Weekly overnight shift from Saturday 19:00 to Sunday 19:00.

Key Responsibilities
1. Primary Elderly Care
24-Hour Supervision & Assistance: Provide attentive live-in care and continuous supervision to ensure safety and comfort throughout the shift.
Mobility & Transfer Support: Safely transfer and reposition the senior between bed, wheelchair, and restroom/toilet, as she cannot move independently.
Personal Care & Hygiene: Assist with daily living activities, hygiene, and physical comfort routines (including basic daily relaxation massages).
2. Meal Preparation & Light Housekeeping
Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals suitable for the seniors during your shift (Sunday dinner, Sunday breakfast, and Sunday lunch).
Light Housekeeping: Keep the whole apartment clean, tidy, and hygienic during your shift.

Job Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
Have proven professional, paid experience in high-dependency elderly care or bedbound care.
Professional caregiving certifications (e.g., CNA, HHA, First Aid, or nursing background) are a major PLUS.
Tech & Communication Skills
The senior speaks Chinese, but communication needs are basic.
Mandatory Requirement: You must use AI translation tools to communicate effectively with the senior when needed.
