Full-Time Live-In Caregiver (Room & Board Included)

We are looking for a compassionate, patient, and experienced full-time live-in caregiver to join our household. You will be helping us care for two lovely elderly family members and two sweet cats.

About the Household
The Seniors: Two elderly family members. One requires physical assistance/mobility support, while the other is more independent and self-sufficient. (They speak Chinese only; daily communication is minimal but necessary at times).
The Pets: Two adorable cats.
Location: Lisboa

Key Responsibilities
1. Elderly Care (Primary focus on the semi-mobile senior):
24-Hour Supervision: Provide live-in care and attentive supervision to ensure safety.
Mobility Support: Safely assist and transfer the senior between the bed, wheelchair, and restroom.
Physical Wellness: Assist with basic daily massages and physical comfort routines.
2. Housekeeping & Cooking:
Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious daily meals for the seniors.
Light Housekeeping: Maintain general cleanliness and tidiness of the home.
3. Cat Care (Secondary/As-needed):
Help feed the cats and scoop the litter box when you have free time (the cats are very low-maintenance).

Job Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
Must have proven professional, paid experience in elderly care or caregiving.
Any professional caregiving certifications (e.g., CNA, HHA, First Aid, or nursing background) are a major PLUS.
Tech & Communication Skills:
The seniors only speak Chinese, but daily communication is minimal.
Mandatory Requirement: You must be tech-savvy enough to proficiently use smartphone translation apps or AI translation tools to communicate with the seniors and family members when necessary.
Personal Attributes:
Must be exceptionally patient, gentle, detail, and safety-conscious.
